"God Knew Your Name"?Click here

  • It was produced in California using professional actors and actresses on locations used in many popular television series, with a Hollywood film crew. This is no poorly done amateur production.

  •
  • The video is approximately 45 minutes long and includes a clear, direct guide for discussing it, with questions to provoke further reflection. Scripture references are provided to help leaders get the group into a study of the Word, so that the parable may be clearly understood and related back to the good news of Jesus.

  •
  • The video is about a high school biology teacher, Eli Salem, who teaches at Eden High School. The students are assigned the task of caring for Eli's "children" -- small electronic boxes that Eli creates in his basemenent workshop. A member of the class, Emily Watson, is involved in a relationship with another member of the class, Jason. The very night before she had been with Jason until early in the morning. Consequently, she dozes off and has a dream of becoming pregnant and having to abort her unborn child. In her dream Jason is not what he is in real life. In the dream, Jason is not an abusive boyfriend, but a caring friend, who is troubled by his own experience with life and death issues. Awaking from her dream as her name is called, Emily realizes that she can in fact start over and make better choices. With this creative storyline, "Life: It's A Class Project" helps young people to think carefully about choices in life and the consequences of their behaviors. The study guide provides a Biblical guide for discussing what this modern-day parable is teaching and concludes the entire discussion by pointing people to Jesus Christ who cleanses us from sin and makes a new life possible.

  •
  • The goal of this video is to help young people discuss the sin of abortion and pre-marital sexuality and realize how serious these problems are and then understand God's ultimate solution to such situations.

  •
  • The most important goal of the video is to help young people, who have been tempted toward these things, or have been involved in them, to understand how God provides a chance for new beginnings through His mercy and love given in Jesus Christ our Lord and to live a new life for him.

  •
  • It was produced by the Commission on the Sanctity of Life of The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod.

  •

The LCMS affirms the complete reliability of the Holy Scriptures as the infallible, inerrant Word of the Holy Triune God that reveals to us the Gospel of Jesus Christ: The good news that by God's loving grace alone, through Christ alone, by faith alone, we are saved from eternal condemnation and made His children for eternity.

  •
